Founded in Wythenshawe, Manchester, by a team of flooring enthusiasts, Citadel Flooring was created with a simple aim. To provide customers in the UK with high quality LVT flooring at affordable prices.
The question you might ask is, what do we do differently than other companies in the UK flooring market to be able to deliver on this aim?
Cutting out the middle man – most flooring retailers and even those selling direct to customers through online channels primarily offer LVT flooring from well known brands in the market. This means that:
- The Manufacturer has to make a margin when selling to the brand
- The brand has to add a mark-up when selling to the retailer
- The retailer has to add a mark-up when selling to you, the customer
What Makes Us Different
Whilst these well known brands have a reputation for high quality, the high prices they are sold for by retailers reflect the many middle men between the manufacturer and you. Naturally, these middle men have to “take their cut”, and the final price offered to you reflects that
At Citadel flooring, we design, procure and distribute our flooring direct from the manufacturer, cutting out the middle man and enabling us to offer you, the customer, high quality products at affordable prices. All whilst still making a decent living ourselves!
Cutting out the showroom – most retailers, even those operating online, operate an in person showroom, full with flooring samples, product designs, and examples of flooring laid out so you can get a real look at what the flooring may look like in your own home.
However we believe the best place to see how a new floor will look is in your own home, not under the artificial lights of a showroom

In fact, we are so confident, that we offer a price match guarantee, and all our floors come with a 20 year manufacturer’s warranty.All said and done, we know how difficult it is to pick new flooring for your house. And in an age of AI, we know that customers want to speak to real people, no chatbots. This is why our customer service team is available throughout the week, and customers can book in 30 minute consultation slots to discuss their options.
Moreover, whilst we do not offer a fitting service ourselves, we can make recommendations based on the area you live in, and even advise whether you can DIY the project yourself.
Finally, once you have made your decision and placed an order with us, we work quickly to deliver your flooring to you as quickly as possible. We are transparent about our delivery costs, however any orders over £500 are shipped to you, completely free of charge.

We believe the best place to see how a new floor will look is in your own home, not under the artificial lights of a showroom. Unlimited free samples to your door – We send you as many free samples as you like so you can see the colour and feel the quality of our flooring in your own space, with your own lighting, next to your own sofa. This is far more valuable than seeing it in a showroom.
